Since Alex has mentioned Dachau in his blog, I thought I'd include this link to the website of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, where most of you spent time recently. Over the course of The Book Thief you'll find that you can search this site for anything relating to Jews or Judaism or persecution of Jews -- or stories of "Righteous Gentiles," like Walter, Hans, and Rosa, who hid Jews.
